• Aug. 28 – A customer paid with a fraudulent $10 bill at Kwik Trip on Old Highway 18.

• Aug. 28 – Officers responded to Kwik Trip on Church Street for a retail theft.

• Aug. 29 – A 24-year-old man was found lying on his back, covered in vomit, on the West Clark Street Bridge. He was given a ride home.

• Aug. 29 – A 19-year-old woman reported her scooter as stolen from Main Street.

• Aug. 29 – A man reported property was stolen from Bukolt Avenue apartment.

• Aug. 29 – A 25-year-old man was asked to leave Putt N’ Play due to staff being uncomfortable with his behavior.

• Aug. 29 – Three patrons were cited for underage drinking at Top Hat Bar.

• Aug. 30 – A 44-year-old woman advised officered that her storage unit had been broken into and multiple items were missing.

• Aug. 30 – A highly intoxicated 62-year-old woman was sitting in the grass by Aldi’s. She denied needing medical attention and officers assisted the woman in ordering an Uber to Rosholt.

• Aug. 30 – Officers received a call about a woman “tweaking out” by Pfiffner Park. Contact was made with the 25-year-old woman who was informed to not swear around a children’s playground or cause a disturbance.

• Aug. 31 –An unknown person smashed a vehicle’s window at Chase Bank on Main Street. They also attempted to pick the driver’s door with a locking mechanism.

• Aug. 31 – A 29-year-old man was found passed out in a yard on Smith Street. He was heavily intoxicated and informed that he can’t sleep on other people’s property.

• Sept. 1 – A 35-year-old man was living in van in the Hardee’s and Antique Up parking lot. Both businesses asked that he be trespassed.

• Sept. 1 – Students at Ben Franklin Junior High School were found to be in possession of vaping devices.

• Sept. 1 – An officer assisted a 71-year-old woman who accidentally caused her car to go off the road and into the grass on River View Avenue.

• Sept. 1 – A woman told her case worker about her boyfriend making comments about killing people in their apartment. The boyfriend stated he was upset as his girlfriend had cheated on him, but he denied making any comments about killing.

• Sept. 1 – The police department received several calls from a 47-year-old woman about fraud, sexual assault, and stolen cats.

• Sept. 1 – A welfare check was completed for a woman taking a nap on the sidewalk of Prentice Street. She was transported to the hospital to detox and for foot pain.

• Sept. 1 – A 53-year-old man was seeking advice from officers about his online girlfriend. She allegedly became upset when the man refused to send her money. The man has never met his online girlfriend in person. Officers advised the man he was most likely being scammed.

• Sept. 2 – The Stevens Point Fire and Police Department responded to a structure fire on McCulloch Street.

• Sept. 2 – A business received a citation for selling tobacco to a minor.

• Sept. 2 – A 22-year-old woman was arrested at Home Town Storage for possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also charged with felony and misdemeanor bail jumping.

• Sept. 2 – A 70-year-old caller reported receiving unwanted phone calls that were non-threatening. The caller is a teacher and believed the unwanted calls may be coming from students.

• Sept. 2 – A bald male in his 40s to 50s was in the Metro Market liquor department trying to pick fights with other customers.

• Sept. 3 – A man on Smith Street reported his neighbor had threatened to kill him.

• Sept. 3 – A woman was found unresponsive after single vehicle crash on Jordan Lane. She was transported to the hospital by an ambulance.

• Sept. 3 – Officers were dispatched to the hospital after a man had been admitted for accidentally shooting himself. After an investigation, it was determined that the man had accidentally shot himself while taking apart his firearm.
