Stevens Point Police Department awarded flashlight grant

STEVENS POINT—The Stevens Point Police Department has been awarded a $2,000 grant from the Wisconsin Public Service Foundation to purchase new flashlights. The Rewarding Responders Grant was applied for in hopes of replacing old department flashlights.

The Foundation, now in its 13th year of supporting emergency responders, recognized the department's commitment to serving the Stevens Point community. 

The Stevens Point Police Department was able to take the grant money and purchase new Streamlight Stinger LED flashlights for the department.
