Sunset Point Winery to close after 11 years

Posted

STEVENS POINT — Sunset Point Winery owners, Kelly and Don Guay, announced their downtown winery will close this fall.

The owners announced “focusing on the next chapter in their lives” as the reason for the closure.

Sunset Point Winery opened in the summer of 2015 and focused on sourcing local ingredients, rotating flavors, and providing live music to the community.

“Sunset Point Winery has always been about more than wine. It has been about gathering, connection, hospitality, and community. We are thankful for every tasting, every event, every bottle shared, and every person who became part of our story.” Don and Kelly Guay said.

The winery is open until Nov. 1, 2026.
